How it works

What is hyperbaric oxygen therapy?

"Hyperbaric" simply means higher pressure. Inside our chamber, the air pressure is gently raised above normal while you breathe concentrated oxygen.

At higher pressure, your body can take in more oxygen than it does breathing everyday air. Oxygen doesn't just travel on your red blood cells, it also dissolves into your blood plasma, the same way a fizzy drink holds more bubbles when the bottle is sealed.

All you have to do is lie back and relax.

Why clients book HBOT

What our clients come to us for support with

From athletes to people getting back on their feet after injury or illness, these are the most common reasons clients book hyperbaric sessions with us.

Sports recovery

Between training sessions, after competition and during heavy training blocks, to support muscle and soft-tissue recovery.

Injury recovery

Alongside physio and rehab, for clients recovering from sprains, strains and soft-tissue injuries.

Inflammation & joint discomfort

For ongoing aches, stiffness and joint discomfort that get in the way of everyday life or training.

Fatigue & low energy

For clients who feel persistently drained, or are getting back on their feet after illness.

Focus & brain fog

For clients looking to support mental clarity, concentration and cognitive wellbeing.

Sleep & stress

A calm, phone-free hour that many clients use to switch off, reset and support better rest.

Circulation & oxygen delivery

At higher pressure, oxygen dissolves into your blood plasma, so more of it can reach tissues around the body.

Longevity & healthy ageing

A regular part of a long-term routine for people investing in staying active and well for longer.

Our therapies are designed to support general wellbeing and complement, not replace, medical treatment. Always consult your GP before starting any new therapy.

Making it a routine

Consistency is key

Most people choose a block of sessions rather than a one-off, often booking them close together when they start out, then settling into a regular rhythm. We'll help you plan what fits around your life, and our bundles make regular sessions better value.

Quick questions

Is the chamber claustrophobic?

Most people find it more spacious than expected. That's why we offer a free 15-minute taster as part of our free consultation, so you can see how it feels first.

What should I wear?

Comfortable, loose clothing, ideally cotton. Leave jewellery, watches and anything metal at home.

How should I prepare?

Avoid heavy meals for 2 hours beforehand; skip alcohol, caffeine, smoking and fizzy drinks; go without perfume, deodorant and heavy lotions; and don't fly within 24 hours of your session.
