RED LIGHT THERAPY (RLT)
Red Light Therapy harnesses the natural power of light to support your body at a cellular level. Using Newquay's only full body 360° red light therapy bed, our full spectrum of red light wavelengths (633nm, 660nm, 810nm, 850nm, 940nm) delivers a completely tailored and unique experience you can't get from wall panels. Whether you're targeting muscle recovery, improving sleep, boosting energy or investing in your skin and long-term wellness, this bed is built to deliver lasting results.
What Is Red Light Therapy?
Red Light Therapy, also known as photobiomodulation, uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate activity inside your cells. Your body absorbs this light through the skin, where it's believed to support the mitochondria, the part of the cell responsible for producing energy. More cellular energy means your body is better equipped to repair, regenerate and recover.
Unlike UV light, RLT carries none of the associated risks, it's simply light at a wavelength your body responds to naturally.
What It's Good For
Faster muscle recovery after training or exercise
Reduced inflammation and joint discomfort
Firmer, more radiant skin and reduced fine lines
Better sleep and mood
Increased energy levels
Support for wound healing and skin conditions
What to Expect
Warm, relaxing and deeply restorative, your 20-minute session delivers full body coverage from head to toe using our 5-wavelength, 360° full body bed. For best results, light needs direct contact with the skin, so the less clothing the better! Simple, effective and easy to fit into any routine.
Getting the Most From RLT
RLT is cumulative, a single session will leave you feeling good, but consistent sessions are where the real benefits come in. We recommend 2 to 3 sessions per week when starting out, dropping to the odd session once you're feeling the difference.
Most people notice improvements in skin, energy and muscle recovery within a few sessions, with more established results after repeated use. The more regularly you come, the better your results.
The only question is, what are you waiting for?
Our therapies are designed to support general wellbeing and complement, not replace, medical treatment. Always consult your GP before starting any new therapy.
